REVISITED SUMMER TRENDS INSPIRED BY THE EARLY 2000'S - C-SQUARE

From McBling to Y2K.

The term "McBling" was created by Evan Collins of the Y2K Aesthetics Institute and is frequently referred to as a "hangover" from Y2K. While there seems to be a generalisation that anything throwback is influenced by the year 2000, "Y2K" is not to be confused with this term.

In summary, the former, which was dubbed the "Millennium Bug" or "Y2K Bug," featured technological allusions and a future style that echoed popular culture like The Matrix movie. If technology and space travel dominated Y2K, then celebrity culture, sex scandals, and bejewelled clothes dominated McBling. Think about flip phones, capris, Juicy Couture, Britney Spears, bedazzled jeans, Paris Hilton, Juicy Couture, and more.
