For the Fall/Winter 2023 season, Men's Milan Fashion Week has officially begun. Following the announcement that Alessandro Michele was leaving Gucci earlier in the year, the introduction of Marco de Vincenzo as Etro’s new creative director, and the debut of Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY's collection outside of London, all eyes were on Milan. While the events taking place inside show venues have grabbed attention in the fashion world, the streets of the Italian fashion capital were adorned with hard-to-miss styling, starting with the Prada pillow invite that teased the puffer collection of the season to stars like Idris Elba in attendance.

Attendees at the Milan Fashion Week shows demonstrated charisma and energy, proving that cozy silhouettes don't have to be dull. Attendees of fashion week added their own special spin to everyday life by celebrating logic and simplicity with vibrant pops of colour and ushering in a new era of formality. Classic Milanese suits were creatively paired with outrageous and wild colours. Despite the fact that comfort is still king, oversized blazers and coats were everywhere this week. Many paid homage to one of Alessandor Michele‘s final collections, repping the regal Gucci x adidas with its trench coat and blazers in the signature emerald green and bright blue.

The deconstruction of traditional dress codes and the transformation of layering into a mathematical game of wardrobe proportions have led to a new definition of masculinity in fashion. Men's Milan Fashion Week street style for the FW23 season is highlighted by puffer jackets, colourful and patterned overcoats, oversized scarves, and exaggerated toques.
